MPSound Trip
         

 

 is a funk hiphop soul-collective operating from Amsterdam.
Starting out in 1995, Trip has gained experience around the city of Maastricht,
releasing Brusselism in 1996 and Relaxed for Life in 1998. From then on, business
was booming and concerts took place in many clubs and festivals throughout The
Netherlands and Belgium. In the year 2000, a funky horn section and female vocals
were added to the band, and the amount of funkmembers was raised up to 9. In august
2001, the first album Triphonque was recorded at Aluna Studios Amsterdam. This
album contains a broad mix of music styles and influences that crossed Trip's path along the way.
Gently following the learning curve Trip developed its own sound, funking the nation
to a better state of mind...
